As Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) have become more common in public and workplace environments with access more readily available, it is important to understand how and when to use one, and their role in cardiac arrest resuscitation. We will review different models of AEDS and their setup and operation for bystanders and responders so you will feel confident and competent should the time come to be asked to use one.
