Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Administration

Anaphylaxis, or severe allergic reaction, is a serious condition that affects millions of people each year. In this course, we will learn to recognize the various allergens or environmental triggers, which cause anaphylaxis, and how they affect those with sensitivities. We’ll demonstrate how to recognize the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, how and when the application of an epinephrine auto-injector is appropriate, and the safe and easy method of responding to, caring for, and assisting a person in anaphylaxis.
